background
Origins of the name “AmealPeptide®”
AmealPeptide® is also known as Lactotripeptides. It was named derived from Mongolian words, “ami” meaning life, and “amil” meaning to revive, recover, and fermentate.
AmealPeptide® was discovered over the course of around 40 years of continuous research into the physiological functions of fermented milk, produced during the process of manufacturing the lactic acid drink CALPIS®.
what is AmealPeptide®
- Casein based ingredient containing two keylactotripeptides, Valyl-Prolyl Proline (VPP) and Isoleucyl-Prolyl-Proline (IPP)
- Helps maintain healthy systolic and diastolic blood pressure levels and arterial elasticity
- Discovered from fermented milk which showed an ACE inhibitory activity
- Efficacies have been proven by randomized clinical trials
Clinically Proven Benefits
Regulate Blood Pressure
Helps maintain both systolic and diastolic blood pressure within a healthy range, supporting overall cardiovascular health.
Enhance Arterial Elasticity
Improves the elasticity of arteries, crucial for heart function and blood flow.
Increase Bioavailability
Offers superior absorption and effectiveness of VPP and IPP compared to traditional dairy products.
Inhibit ACE Activity
Aids in preventing the constriction of blood vessels by inhibiting the angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE).
Mechanism of Action
- Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACE) Inhibition
- Nitric oxide (NOx) production enhancement
Claims
Maintains systolic and diastolic blood pressure levels already within a normal range
Promotes arterial elasticity
Increased bioavailability of VPP and IPP compared to dairy products
Inhibits angiotensin converting enzymes (ACE) that promotes the constriction of blood vessels
Found to be safe with no adverse effects in multiple human studies
